Their Incompetence will bring them down

Bullying bulls in a china shop

Incompetent fools who should be in prison

but instead created their own insane asylum

Run by a megalomaniac spewing evil

Half of the most advanced nation

Twice deluded, put them in charge

We believe you, Donald, make us great

Make us in your own image

You have been sent by God, we have made you God

You believe it too, who can stand up to you?

Former friends taken aback, smacked in the mouth

How to respond, how to placate this man?

This maniac, this self-deluded devil

Don’t worry, I say, there will be more damage,

But their incompetence will bring them down

Their empire will crumble, and soon

They don’t know how to run it

This great, complex machine to which

they have been given the keys

They don’t know how to work it,

the gears will grind and jam,

The wires will be crossed and short-circuit

Their former friends will not be there to help

The machine will seize up, the boss will rage

The people will see that they are led by a self-deluded fool

His words will no longer persuade

The lies will be seen as such

He will fire people left and right

He will rant and rage and blame

His lies will multiply, but the world will see

that the Emperor has no clothes and

his empire will be in disarray

as his sycophants retreat in dismay

The fools have exhausted their foolishness

Dictators elsewhere laugh

The rest of us will move on.

And books will be written for many years hence

about the Great American Dictator and his army of sycophants

How did this happen?

History repeats itself for those who are not its students.
